Info:

Giant Jelly Fish are not heard of often. But, there are reports of them out there. One of them deals with a 20 ton jellyfish that latched onto the Kuranda, a 1,438 ton sea vessel sailing to the Fijian Islands in 1973. The jelly fish was eventually dislodged with the help of another ship, but not before it had killed a crew member. Some of its tentacles were estimated to be 200 feet long. They kept samples of the slime left behind by the animal, and it was determined to be from a lion's mane jelly fish, which was already known to be the largest known type of jelly fish.

My Thoughts:

I was not able to find much information about giant jelly fish. It is a scary thought though.
